Grey Goose is the shit

Just in case you didn’t know. Once again the vodka brand comes with a cool gadget. This ice bucket is designed by Designers 5.5 for Grey Goose and it isn’t just an ordinary offering. Definitely not ordinary for the statement it makes, plus the price tag of $4050, and the limited edition factor (5 of them to be offered for sale), this is to make the most ardent vodka lovers envious. Only for les connoisseurs.

Bollinger x 007 Champagne pack

This 007 pack has a uniquely shaped box around the bottle. The box can be used as a potent box to store your essentials as it has a key at the end. The whiff of exclusivity isn’t spared here, either, as only 207 of these exclusive bottles will be produced, and each of them will be numbered. Such grace is rare for a Champagne bottle and therefore we won’t mind paying $5,765 for it.

Evisu x Grand 1888

Summer, collaboration time. At least, that’s what I think it is since I only hear about sick collabo’s. Another one is this one from Evisu. With Dutch Bicycle manufacturer Grand 1888, they’ve developed a special edition bespoke cruiser. Everything on the bike is handcrafted from the steel frame to the gold plackets on the mud guard. The bikes are all individually numbered and come with a limited selvedge constructed Evisu bike duffel.

3G iPhone

Finally, it’s released. It was worth the wait: It has 3G wireless technology, GPS and support for Microsoft Exchange. The white and black back covers are crazy!

Veuve Clicquot Night Clubber

This Veuve Clicquot package consists of a luminous glass and a bottle taht allows every consumer to experience the festive opening of its bottle. The champagne bottle features double cap for blocking the stopper. The leather trim imparts the luxury feel and polished aluminium treatment is also given to accentuate the design. The package also features LED embedded in the metallic part of the glass. And, leather that surrounds the glass is punctured by a multitude of holes, champagne will be informed and be reflected through these holes to give a dimension to the preciousness of the champagne. The product has currently not backed by any manufacturer so is still in concept stage but the average price is valued at approximately $400. Not too much and in our humble opinion worth the money, for as far as we can judge right now. Veuve Clicquot: Feel free to send samples to Brutblog for more detailled reviews ;).

DJ Brut

Since the Audio Technica’s weren’t coming in on time (before Brutblog hits Egypt), I just bought these DJ-Proof Sony MDR V300’s.

The sound is simply amazing! Very close to the Audio Technica’s. If not better. A tip for anyone who hates to have iPod earphones in for six hours straight (on a airplane for instance) and for anyone who like to hear (or feel) the bass.

Straight from Japan

Update: The store refuses to sell these for the price they offered, they went bankrupt. Busta’s… I’ll start looking for these at other stores…

I just ordered these headphones. I really really needed new ones and after having a lot of trouble on finding the perfect pair I decided to buy these Audio-Technica ATH-SE7.

Audio-Technica is a Japanese brand and most things that come from Japan are good: clothing, food, music and the female models.

I don’t wear these on normal occassions but only when I’m listening to my music for a long time. My iPod headphones are good enough to listen to music when I’m on the street, but for in airplanes or at home it’s nice to have some good headphones. These are dope! Continue reading

Knockoff Vertu?!

If you’ve read the story of the Evisu Sample sale a couple of days ago, you know how I think of knockoff products. I think that knockoff products destroy good working brands. People who spend hundreds or thousands of Euros on a product will see others spending merely a few bucks on a product that looks and feels the same. I was suprised to see that even the ultra high end Vertu luxury mobile phones have been counterfeited. The Chinese call it Veptu.

Veptu

It comes with a 24K gold plated case finish and even with some diamonds. Which I bet are fake.
